What’s the first thing you think of when you hear CrossFit? Intense. Difficult. Serious. Intimidating.
Those were our thoughts too! Many people have the misconception that CrossFit is for the competitive, crazy-fit people. Eric Rosenstock, the founder of CrossFit Deep, let us know that’s not true! There may be some of those people, but everyone starts their journey somewhere.
CrossFit workouts include a variety for high intensity constant movements. These movements are from different types of exercises – gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. However, your form is the key!
Our warm up had us running a lap around the building. Already off to a tough start, but we stuck around! Our workout was a little special, designed to be more basic to make sure we understood the correct form for the beginner circuits. The circuits included squats, kettle bell swings, burpees, etc. Quite the spicy workout.
But it’s not all about the workout! Eating healthy, releasing stress and getting a good night’s sleep really affects your body. Eric and CrossFit Deep work not only help others to achieve their body goals, but help give them the knowledge to better other areas as well.
