There are so many great and mostly outdoor events this fall! Perfect to enjoy the nice, cool weather! So grab your pumpkin spice latte and head out to the many October events!

All Month Long

Mondays and Wednesdays

6 pm: Boot Camp in the Plaza
Every Monday and Wednesday, CityLine DFW in Richardson hosts a complimentary, outdoor boot camp to burn calories using just your body weight. The series is perfect for all fitness levels and guaranteed to make you sweat!


9 am: Yoga in the Plaza
It’s the last month for yoga in the plaza hosted by CityLine DFW! Enjoy a outdoor yoga practice with Reef Point Yoga in the cool, fall weather. These complimentary classes are designed for all levels and beginners are encouraged to experience the freedom of practicing outside in a fun environment. Don’t forget to bring your mat!


10 am: Yoga on the Roof
HG Sply Co. is still going strong with Kurt Johnsen and hosting yoga of the roof every Sunday. These classes are by donation with all proceeds benefiting the fallen Dallas police officers and their families. Stick around after class for a tasty brunch!

Saturday, October 1st – 

11 am – 1 pm: Grand Opening : City Surf Plano 
We visited this studio back during their soft opening, but now you can visit it during it’s Grand Opening! City Surf says the more the merrier on this day of excitement. Bring your girl gang, your best friend, your boyfriend, your husband or let them bring you! Drop in for giveways, prizes from your fave local brands & samplings from your favorite healthy vendors. No sign up require!

Monday, October 3rd –

5 – 8 pm: Kendra Scott Gives Back
Need a reason to purchase more Kendra Scott? Join the Plaza at Preston Center location for a night of shopping. 20% of the proceeds will benefit Scottish Rite Hospital for Children & the Tri Delta Foundation. Sips and snacks will be provided!

6:30 – 8:30 pm: CultureMap Social: Top Texans Under 30 Edition
Come all young professionals, join CultureMap at Fearing’s Restaurant for this fun event. Honoring five Dallasites included on our inaugural list of the twentysomething trailblazers making it happen in our state. Plus eat, drink and rub elbows with the rest of the hot young professionals. Only $25 for a ticket and 100% of the proceeds donate to the nonprofits selected by out Top Texans.

Tuesday, October 4th – 

6 – 8 pm: Uptown Block Party: Free Concert Honoring National Night Out
National Night Out is an annual community building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Join DPD, Fire & Rescue and special quests for a concert featuring 80’s cover band: The Spazmatics and delicious food from Katy Ice Trail. The event is FREE and hosted in Griggs park!

Saturday, October 8th –

8 am – 11 am Oct 9th: 3rd Annual FitJam Weekend
Join JamBox Fitness and other vendors for their 3rd annual FitJam Weekend at the Crowne Plaza Hotel & Resort. The event will offer 12 master classes from 16+ instructors with 6 main events. The weekend ends on Sunday with a champagne brunch! Find more information and tickets here.

Sunday, October 9th –

10 am – 11 am: Runner’s Yoga at Luke’s Locker
Luke’s Locker at Mockingbird is hosting a one-hour yoga class with Lindsey Deemer from the YMCA. Hang out after the practice for shopping with special discount and bites.

3 pm – 6 pm: Meal Prep with the Pros
Not the best a meal prepping? No worries! Join Meal Prep with the Pros and Shannon & Joel Summerlin in Flower Mound to learn how to pack your healthy meals. The class is $35 to be paid at arrival. Thursday, October 13th – 

7 – 10 pm: Young Texan’s Against Cancer: Bubbly Q Gala
This is YTAC’s biggest event of the year! In it’s 9th year, Bubbly Q offers Dallas’ finest foodie philanthropists an evening of gourmet bites, bubbles and cocktails, and an amazing silent auction! Teamed up with celebrity chef, Dean Fearing, this event isn’t just a great time but also raises tons of money for 9 different local cancer beneficiaries. Tickets are still available for a limited time!

Saturday, October 15th –

8:30 am: Ft Worth Police & Firefighter Memorial Run
The Fort Worth Police Officers Association & Professional Firefighters are hosting a 5K and 1 mile Fun Run benefiting the Fort Worth Police and Firefighters Memorial. The Fun Run will start by the memorial and wind its way through beautiful Trinity Park. Proceeds will go to help repair and maintain the Fort Worth Police and Firefighters Memorial. 11 am – 1:30 pm: Brunch and Slay
Brunch and Slay is taking over Lark on the Park! Surround yourself with energetic women dedicated to change and growth. Expect real-talk discussions, inspiring narratives from game-changers with resources and experiences. The movement is dedicated to creating beautiful experiences that provide women with a love, and confidence in SELF like never before. Visit the event page for more information. Tickets are $75.

Sunday, October 16th –

8 am: That Dam Half & 5K
Join the Run Project at Lynn Creek Park for one of the most scenic runs in the metroplex at the best time of the year for running in Texas. Racers receive a long-sleeve shirt and a medal! A party with food and drinks will follow the race. Tickets are available here.

Tuesday, October 18th –

5:30 – 8:30 pm: Kaia FIT Workout & Nutrition Seminar
Join Kaia FIT North Dallas for a FREE workout followed by a nutrition seminar with co-founder Nikki Warren! Nikki has 20+ years’ experience in the fitness and nutrition field. FIT gyms offer themed muscle confusion workouts, nutritional guidance, a dedicated community of like-minded women.

Thursday, October 20th –

6 pm: Dallas Networking Social at The Eberhard
Don’t miss out on a great chance to grow your network, and improve your social skills. Network and Social events allow like-minded professionals to recognize, create, or act upon new relationships and networking opportunities. Make friends from over 30+ industries over cocktails, bites and easy conversation. Tickets start at $12.

Saturday, October 22nd –

9 am: Mud Run
Get a little dirty with the Mud Run! There will be three different obstacle races for all ages (3+). Courses can include tunnels, ropes, slip n slide, log walk, hurdles, mud pit, and so much more! For more information and tickets, visit their website.

2 – 6 pm: Park and Palate
Klyde Warren Park’s signature fundraiser is a celebration of the region’s most popular chefs, wineries, breweries and spirits. The event will showcase the best of the Texas culinary scene. Park & Palate is 21 and up, no exceptions. Tickets are $75.

3 pm – 6 pm: Young Professionals Sweat & Sip
Hey Fort Worth, get to know your local American Heart Association with after a sweat at Orangetheory and a sip at Gloria’s. A $20 donation will sign you up for the class at Montgomery Plaza and happy hour after. Visit here for more information.

8 pm – 10 pm: Glow Yoga with The Lotus Chick
Get ready to put on anything that glows – necklaces, bracelets, stickers – for this black and neon light yoga practice hosted by The Lotus Chick at The Sweet Spot Yoga Studio. This class is $20. Bring you mat and something to drink! Snacks will be provided. Sign up here.

Sunday, October 23rd –

9 am – 5 pm: Dallas POUND Pro Training
Interested in becoming a POUND pro? The Jam Box is hosting a one-day, 8 hour dynamic and comprehensive training experience accredited by ACE and AFAA. Learn more and purchase tickets here.

8 am – 2 pm: Zombie Apocalypse Shoot
Is shooting sports more your thing? To get into the Halloween spirit, Cowtown Bowman Archery Club in Fort Worth is putting on a zombie themed shoot. There will be 14 Zombie Targets on field range back stops. $10 per shooter, unless you dress like a zombie! Zombies get to shoot for free! Find out more here.

Thursday, October 27th –

6:45 pm: Will Tuck for Tacos
Burn it out with The Barre Code Design District in their 5:30 pm TBC or 6:30 pm Barre class before heading over to El Bolero for their once a month community happy hour! There will be drink special and $2 tacos until 9 pm. *Classes are not included. To RSVP for the happy hour, send an email to

Friday, October 28th –

7:30 pm: Spooky Asana Glow Flow
Special Event! Glow paint, glow in the dark bracelets, black light, Halloween music, and a great flow! 3Tree Yoga in Fort Worth is going to lead a spooky practice with instructor Amanda Quintanilla. No scary extra charges for this class! Just sign up on their website.

Saturday, October 29th –

12 pm: Cornhole Tournament
Taking you back to the good old college tailgating days with a Cornhole Tournament at The Social House in Uptown. Tickets are $10 per person. The backyard also offers bubble soccer, giant beer pong, and giant jenga. Be sure to register before October 21st!
