Sunday morning couldn’t have been planned any better. A morning of yoga in the midst of Highland Park Village, sign me up! Among the effects that made this event so well planned was the beautiful weather, Dallas was lucky enough to enjoy. Let’s face it, 80° F in August in Texas is almost too good to be true. As the men, women, families and their adorable dogs strolled the Village, a group of us partook in some quality mat time. Having never been to Exhale, it seemed fitting to learn all about what they have to offer: barre, yoga and a spa! It all sounds too good to be true, and I honestly can’t wait to use the discount cards they gave out to participate in some Exhale downtime.
Exhale seems to be the place to go to release and relax. The studio, located off of 75 and E Mockingbird Ln., is a duo of fitness classes including yoga, barre and cardio with spa therapies including facials, massafes, acu-healing, scrubs, nails and waxing. I’m thinking a much needed girls spa day is going to be planned soon!
Anyways, we were lead through a very relaxing flow of yoga. The exercises were both meditative and toning intensive but by the end of the 45 minute session I felt completely rested. Lacking in sweat therapy, was a definite plus since Bandier was now welcoming all yogis to sip, shop and try on. We enjoyed cocktails from TY KU Sake! I’ve always been skeptical about sake, having always heard its a unique taste accustomed to few but I’m glad I tried what TY KU had to offer us! Complete gluten free and free of Sulfites, Tannins, or additives & preservatives, sake makes the perfect low calorie cocktail. There were two different recipes served and I have them right here for y’all!
The Chakra Colada
2 oz TY KU Coconut Sake
2 oz Pineapple Juice
(Toss in a slice of pineapple)
The Warrior Breeze
2 oz TY KU Cucumber Sake,
While sipping, I shopped some of Bandier’s new fall athleisure! Here are some of my favorites from Koral Activewear and Splits 59 that I tried on. I’ll link the pieces to shop them below as well! Overall, Bandier events are always a blast and a great opportunity to try something new. I can’t wait for their up and coming opportunities to try Classic Pilates this September!
