Yoga X Klyde Warren Park

Location: 2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway, Suite 403, Dallas, TX 75201

First off let us just say, we are so grateful to live in a community where health and fitness is appreciated. We are also gracious to the instructors that are willing to teach classes in a new environment and do it at no cost to the public. Thank you for your services!

That being said, did you know the Dallas Yoga Center puts on a yoga class for free every Thursday evening at 5:30 pm and Sunday morning at 10 am this spring? Well, you do now! We thought we’d take this opportunity to explore one of our city’s many parks and start our morning off with some yoga before brunch. The Rustic was delicious by the way. Also did you know, Klyde Warren Park has been voted one of the Top 10 best parks in Dallas to spend a Spring day at by USA Today.

Anyways, get there early to get a spot on the pavilion stage, otherwise you’ll be downward dogging in the grass. The event filled up with all types of yogis; young, old, experienced, inexperienced, flexible and not so flexible. For more advanced yogis, this class would’ve been a little bit of a let down but it was very beginner friendly and got the job done as far a a yoga class is concerned.

We personally enjoyed the experience, especially the relaxing setting. Yes, a yoga class in the middle of downtown’s hustle, bustle and sky scrapers was honestly more relaxing than a studio class. We encourage you to bring your mat and try it out! Why not? It’s free and its another great way to become social and fit with our Dallas.
