BEYOND PHIT is a Pilates-inspired hybrid interval training full of movements, cardio intervals and strength exercises. The best part of this workout, burning 500 calories in just 50 minutes.
BEYOND500 has three different locations around Dallas, each with different equipment. The Knox-Henderson location has the Curve treadmill, which burns 30% calories and feelings like a human hamster wheel! It’s self-propelled and very easy to use. It really moves with you! This location also has he Pilates chair to use with kettle bells to squeeze in some strength training. If you’ve never used these machines, you’re in for a real surprise! It takes just a minute to get used to! Which it fine, because the instructors will help you every step of the way. Don’t forget to come 15 minutes early so they can show you how to properly use them.
Get ready for four 6-minute and two 10-minute fast paced interval switching from the treadmill to chair each time with a minute rest in between. Yes, you heard me right! You’ll get sweatier than ever. If you have asthma, like me, please take your inhaler before class. You’ll thank me later.
