Bandier Fitness Pop Up
A Tribe Called Sprinter X Crystal Pollard HIIT
Location: Highland Park Village, 8 Highland Park Village, Dallas, TX 75205
If you weren’t in town this weekend, I feel bad for you. Among other reasons you’ll read about later, this weekend should have fulfilled every socially fit Dallas girl’s need for butt kickin’ work outs and new athleisure. My partner in crime was out of town, but never fail, I tend to be able to wrangle up someone to attend events especially when mentioning the words ‘free’ and ‘sale’. What girl wouldn’t fall for such breathtaking vocabulary?
Bandier, is a high-end athletic clothing supplier based somewhere other than Texas. Thankfully though, it found it’s way to our beloved Highland Park Village and has become a home of all things athleisure. Selling brands like Alo, Phat Budda, Outdoor Voices, Vie Active and SO many more. Bandier inspires the fashionably athletic to live a healthy, fit and well dressed lifestyle. That being said, it was no surprise to hear that they had rounded up some very impressive fitness professionals to teach a cornucopia of different studio classes right within Highland Park Village for two entire days as participants also shopped 15% off store wide.
Shopping is cardio, but after a long day of office work, shopping wasn’t enough cardio. So we did HIIT with Equinox trainer and owner of A Tribe Called Sprinters, Crystal Pollard. HIIT, short for High Intensity Interval Training, consists of doing elementary exercises for intervals of 20, 30, or 60 seconds at a time. If this wasn’t already a party, as any cardio workout should be, add one part DJ SOBER and follow it up with organic cocktails and chia bars post workout. We squatted, danced, shopped, networked and refreshed the evening away. Bandier fitness pop ups are definitely opportunities to keep your eye out for!
